Who we are
A Claretian centre, animated by the Word
A Claretian centre for prayer, formation and community.
LIAT is run by the Claretian Missionaries (CMF), a congregation founded by St Anthony Mary Claret and present across more than sixty countries. “Animation” is our word for the work: not running programmes for their own sake, but breathing life into a community’s faith.
In practice that means the ordinary rhythms of a Catholic centre — daily Mass, confession, adoration — held together with formation for young adults, retreats, counselling and outreach to the neighbourhood around us.
There is no membership and no fee. The centre is open to Catholics, to those from other traditions, and to anyone simply curious enough to come in.

To animate faith in everyday life — accompanying people through the sacraments, scripture and community so that the Gospel becomes something lived rather than merely inherited.

A centre where anyone can walk in without explaining themselves, and walk out having met God, a friend, or both.
